Brady Farm Community Dinner

Farm to Fork 101 is a sustainable culinary experience that aims to connect chefs, farmers and consumers. We do this by engaging the community in different unique ways. Through cooking classes, educational dinners, speaking engagements, event planning and consultation, we strive to bring local to you!

Mission of the Dinner Series:

• To learn about the journey of food through the eyes of the growers and creators
• To celebrate the food being produced in our own backyard
• To build and strengthen our local food system

Come meet the growers, creators and community surrounding food in Central New York.

Enjoy a four course meal prepared over an open-fire by Eden Restaurant and grown on Brady Farm. All products are sourced locally and sustainably.

Farm to Fork 101 and Eden Restaurant have started a dinner series that is meant to connect guests with their food, their farmer and their chef. Our fifth of this series has us visiting Brady Farm in Syracuse, NY.

From Brady Farm:

The goal of the Brady Farm is to provide affordable, fresh, locally grown produce to our community. We strive to maintain affordable prices in order to serve all people. We use a combination of weekly box shares (CSAs), market shares, market stands, and donations to reach as many people as possible.

There will be a social hour from 5-6 pm for everyone to enjoy a stroll around the farm and enjoy a farm fresh adult beverage. (alcohol is not included in price but will be available for purchase). The dinner will start promptly at 6 pm. We will connect and hear stories from the chef himself and about how his restaurant has adapted to the ever changing industry. We will also have a chance to hear stories from Grindstone farm and connect with them as they speak about how they work together with many other farms to serve their community and others.  We will also hear from the Owner of Farm to Fork 101 on the importance of community action and food. Lastly, everyone will have a chance to watch the chef in action and speak with him directly while he is preparing your dishes. So many great things to check out.
