About the event

Farm to Fork 101 and Eden Restaurant have started a dinner series that is meant to connect guests with their food, their farmer and their chef. Our second edition in this series has us visiting Brady Farm in the City of Syracuse. Brady Farm has long been a staple on Syracuse's Southwest Side.

The farm's mission is to create an economically sustainable and resilient source of affordable, locally grown food for the community, skilled and employable youth and adults, hands-on community education, and respite for the community. We seek to honor the cultural and environment heritage of the community and the land, serving as stewards and leaning on the hopes and needs of the neighbors to guide our path.

It is our pleasure to invite 20 guests to come visit the farm while enjoying a four course dinner made exclusively by Chef/Owner Rich Strub of Eden Restaurant. We will be practicing social distancing so that everyone will be able to sit 6' apart but can still enjoy the whole experience of eating farm to table while sitting among farmers, chefs and the beauty of the farm.

We will be offering four courses with an optional wine pairing.

There will be a social hour from 5-6 pm for everyone to enjoy a stroll around the farm. Try some special appetizers and enjoy a farm fresh adult beverage. (alcohol is not included in price but will be available for purchase). The dinner will start promptly at 6 pm. We will connect and hear stories from the chef himself and about how his restaurant has adapted to the ever changing industry. We will also have a chance to hear stories of the farm and connect with them as they speak about their passion of farming and the community that they serve. We will also hear from the Owner of Farm to Fork 101 on the importance of community action and food. Lastly, everyone will have a chance to watch the chef in action and speak with him directly while he is preparing your dishes. So many great things to check out.
