Farm to Fork 101 would like to thank all the chefs involved with the mission to promote and educate people about the bounty of Syracuse and Central New York.

Traveling to some of the best restaurants in Syracuse and surrounding areas while bringing them the freshest farm food has been one of the most awe-inspiring and absolutely delicious journeys we have been on.

Bringing together many really amazing farmers, great chefs, delicious ingredients, and great people has been at the heart of our mission. We applaud all those that continue to support and grow with us.

Farm to Table is a way of life that I have practiced since a child. Knowing where my food comes from for my children and helping our local community is everything in the future of our lives. We have gone so far off course in the name of convenience and our children now pay the price with illnesses that are becoming th e"norm". It's time to bring it back to simple and clean.

DEANNA GERMANO
CHEF 4 RENT

Chef DeAnna Germano is the founder of Chef4Rent which has recently expanded into a restaurant, food truck, meal delivery service and catering company. She is now co owner/ co Chef of The Chef &The Cook in Baldwinsville, and Chef4rent with Mark Germano and Jason Jessmore. You can find Chef DeAnna on her food truck serving locally sourced inventive foods at local breweries, wineries and festivals. When she isn't on the food truck Chef DeAnna splits her time between Cócaire and The Chef and The Cook. DeAnna also heads up all of the catering for all the venues. She is a 40 under 40 recipient for 2017, a recipient of the syracuse business woman community achievement award for 2016, and you may have even seen her on the cover of Syracuse woman magazine in july of 2016. DeAnna prides herself on locally sourced cuisine as well as fusion cuisine, and dabbles in baking.

MARK GERMANO
THE CHEF AND THE COOK

Chef Mark Germano is co owner/ co Chef of The Chef &The Cook in Baldwinsville, and Chef4Rent.  Chef Mark studied at Le Cordon Bleu and has worked in the culinary industry for over 13 years.  In the past he has managed the kitchens at places such as SKY Armory, Aster Pantry and Parlor, The Linklean House, and became a co owner of Chef4Rent at the opening of Cócaire. Chef Mark has a true passion for cooking from the soul, and learning traditional techniques while putting a new world spin on it.

JASON JESSMORE
THE CHEF AND THE COOK

Chef Jason Jessmore is co owner/ co Chef of The Chef &The Cook in Baldwinsville, and Chef4rent. In the past he has managed the kitchens at places such as SKY Armory, Mohegan Manor, and Aster Pantry & Parlor.


Focusing on culinary classics, world cuisine and progressive cuisine blending of flavors and cultures, known for his unique style and passion for food, he brings a twist to the local area with a combination of unique,creative and local ingredients
